IDEO Chief Creative Officer Paul Bennett writes for National Geographic, recounting firsthand his experiences in the Democratic Republic of Congo working with the IDEO.org team to set up Asili, a two-year-old community-run social enterprise created in partnership with the American Refugee Committee. Asili offers clean water, agricultural services, and a health clinic to the Congolese communities affected by war and poverty.
