Talent Lead

In a nutshell:

IDEO Munich is in search of a contract Talent Lead who will provide HR support to employees and leadership, and handle employee relations, team dynamics, coaching, process enhancement and recruiting for the period of 12 months.

Talent Leads make the biggest impact by nurturing our unique culture and creating appropriate guidelines and support for extremely creative professionals. Their skill set is critical to our work/business because they are able to effectively partner and work with our senior leadership. We count on them to assist project teams in setting goals at the beginning of projects and providing them with the support need to accomplish these goals.

Once here you will:

  • Partner with location leadership for talent planning initiatives
  • Provide proactive guidance regarding employee relations and coaching for the designers and leadership
  • Delivering recruiting support with our European Recruiting Coordinator including; sourcing openings, screening CVs, scheduling and conducting interviews and negotiating employment offers
  • Coordinating development initiatives for the Munich studio
  • Assist in the semi-annual review process including gathering feedback for employees
  • Closely working together with the Global Talent Team and actively contributing to global talent initiatives

Relevant experience:

  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • An understanding of German employment law and knowledge of best practices in people management
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment where strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential
  • Strong empathy skills
  • The ability to improve processes, develop strong working relationships, and make an impact on the organization
  • Experience in the design or creative industry, a plus

  • Fluent in English and German, our office language is English
