Contract Recruiting Sourcer

In a nutshell:

IDEO is in search of a Contract Talent Sourcer to join our Recruiting Team for 3 months. You will work alongside our Recruiting Team to help us identify, build relationships with, and hire the best senior talent to IDEO. You will help us leverage existing channels as well as find new channels in the market to identify, attract, and assess critical talent for our creative organization.

Why is this role important for IDEO’s work?

The Talent Sourcer will make the biggest impact by helping us to assure we are hiring world class talent. At IDEO our Talent processes and approach are not one-size-fits-all. We put a lot of effort into finding the right people to join IDEO and see recruiting as a creative “matching” challenge — a human-centered one.  

Once here you will:

  • Source and engage exceptional senior talent to join IDEO.
  • Partner with IDEO Leaders and Recruiters to understand the role requirements, candidate profile, and define the candidate identification strategy for each position.
  • Build our talent pipeline with qualified senior candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Use various social media sites and tools to understand candidates’ motivations and career goals in order to engage with them in a meaningful way.
  • Build and manage a strong, qualified pipeline for multiple roles specifically in the design, consultancy, and agency industries.
  • Drive location based outreach including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, for our EU and Asia offices. 
  • Deliver market data to team members, increasing understanding of the market in regions of interest at any point in time.

Relevant experience and mindset:

  • Ideally, 2 or more years experience in technical and creative sourcing
  • Experience or exposure to effective diversity recruiting tactics
  • Deep understanding of creative sourcing strategies and tools to engage and excite passive candidates
  • Strong business acumen, interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with different people.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
  • Experience with an ATS (we use Greenhouse), experience with a CRM (we use Beamery) and familiar with sites like Stack Overflow, Github, LinkedIn, Dribbble, Behance, etc.
