About The Role

This is an opportunity to lead growth efforts for IDEO U. You will be key to accelerating the growth of enrollments, owning the growth roadmap while experimenting with new experiences for prospective and current IDEO U learners. With the growth roadmap, you will prioritize experiments with new channels, identify cross-funnel or lifecycle experimentation opportunities, and plan the work with your cross-functional teammates.   

In this role you will work collaboratively with the marketing and product team to generate hypotheses, prioritize opportunities, and execute experiments focused on optimizing target growth metrics. Key areas of focus will be identifying new growth channels, search engine optimization, collaborating to improve purchase conversion rates to reduce acquisition costs, and elevating retention or learner LTV. In addition, you’ll play a key role in testing and validating new offerings as we expand our offers and course catalog.

The role reports to the Director of Growth and Digital Marketing.

Once Here You Will 

  • Work to grow the number of learners enrolled in IDEO U.
  • Lead the experiments team (a cross functional group) owning the vision and growth roadmap
  • From concept to launch, lead the execution of experiments designed to improve key growth metrics
  • Lead efforts to acquire new users through paid performance marketing channels and SEO
  • Collaborate to build exceptional experiences for our prospective learners that maintain and elevate IDEO U brand standards
  • Work with a team to develop a deep understanding of our prospective learners through experimentation, user research, and analytics

Relevant Experience

  • 3+ years of exceptional growth marketing, performance marketing or product management work
  • Deep curiosity about users
  • Strong bias for action
  • Ability to distill multiple inputs into insights and hypotheses 
  • Precise communication skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Understanding of search engine marketing (paid and organic) and have driven growth through these channels
  • Have run A/B tests and generated organizational learnings
  • Love for design solutions and consumer products
  • Passion for improving education
  • Nice to have
    • Track record of optimizing lead to purchase funnels
    • Familiarity with our tech stack: Shopify, Hubspot, VWO
