The Webby Awards
Five IDEO projects win Webby Awards and four projects are named Webby honorees across multiple categories. Winning projects include Pillpack, Future of Automobility, Cafeteria Designed for Me, and Society of Grownups. Honorees include Thanks Birth Control, Design Kit, Future of Automobility, and Creative Listening. Two projects also received a People’s Voice Award.

TIME names PillPack, former IDEO Boston Startup-in-Residence, as one of the 25 Best Inventions of 2014
Along with the Apple Watch and 3D printing, former IDEO Boston Startup-in-Residence, PillPack, was named to Time’s annual round-up of the top 25 Inventions of 2014. The inventions had to make the “world better, smarter and –in some cases – a little more fun.”
This week The Atlantic also writes about PillPack’s disruptive service and quotes its CEO and founder, TJ Parker, on his company’s collaboration with IDEO, “We [had] the opportunity to make everyday tasks delightful. Even something as unsexy as taking pills.”
