About
Gretchen Wustrack leads the Active Health domain at IDEO. She uses her deep experience in design for adherence, behavior change and engagement to inspire and empower people to own their health and wellness.
Gretchen has over 12 years of design and strategic consulting experience across a broad range of industries for clients such as Kaiser Permanente, Department of Homeland Security, Genentech, Samsung, Target, Nike and the NFL Players Association.
She takes a holistic approach to design focusing on solutions where product, service, environment and communications meet to create meaningful user experiences and robust businesses.
Gretchen is a self-described dilettante. Outside of work she can be found trying her hand at new skills such as stuffing sausage, cultivating kokedama and attempting to tango.
Gretchen holds a BS with Honors in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.
