Message Signature Edition & AccuSlide Flow Regulator IDEO performed extensive mechanical engineering work on this peristaltic pump, which is designed to deliver highly precise amounts of fluid to patients. Because the pump works on the outside of the IV tubing (without contacting the fluid), subtle material and handling issues must be overcome. The patented solution is the AccuSlide Flow Regulator, a disposable pumping cartridge that is a great improvement over standard round tubing, and also acts as a cutoff and overpressure valve.
