Message Transcutaneous immunization delivery method for Intercell Iomai, now part of Intercell, approached IDEO to develop a viable application method for a new needle-free vaccine delivery patch. By combining emerging medical research with user experience insights, IDEO integrated such features as a mechanism to control patch location and a means of instantly preparing the skin to accept the vaccine.
