Johannes Seemann is part of the Human Factors and Business Design community at IDEO. He is spearheading the development of quantitative decision-making methods to support the design processes.
Prior to joining IDEO he worked for four years at Marakon Associates, a management consultancy in New York City. As a member of the Customer Value group, he advised clients on their customers’ needs to unlock growth opportunities. He has also worked in the Advanced Techniques Group of Mindshare US as marketing consultant and the market research firm NPD Group’s new product development division.
Throughout his career he has invented and utilized a wide variety of research methods ranging from the qualitative to quantitative, while always focusing on insights that help his clients gain a deeper understanding of their customers. His project work includes industries such as high finance, CPG and non-for profit firms amongst others.
