About
Ingrid Fetell is a Design Researcher and Project Lead based in IDEO’s New York office. She draws from her experience in a range of disciplines — human factors, creative writing, brand strategy, and industrial design — to create engaging experiences and holistic systems.
Since joining IDEO in 2010, Ingrid has led research efforts and developed design solutions for clients in the automotive, education, entertainment, fashion, and retail industries. She is a faculty member in the new Products of Design graduate program at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she teaches design research and integration.
Prior to joining IDEO, Ingrid worked as a brand strategist and researcher with agencies Redscout, Landor, and PSB, leading projects with clients such as Condé Nast, Diageo, Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, and Time. She holds a master’s in industrial design from Pratt Institute and a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing from Princeton University. Her design work has been exhibited at imm Cologne, Germany.
