Secretary Clinton mentions IDEO's work with Somalia's Refugees
U.S. Department of State
United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announces that the U.S. State Department will be working with the American Refugee Committee (ARC) and IDEO on the “Neighbors” campaign to raise awareness and funds for the relief effort in Somalia. Fred and David shared the stage for “How Is Design Inspiring New Directions in Education and Our Society?,” and Sandy spoke on a panel titled, “How Do We Design the Learning Environments of the Future?”

OpenIDEO at the i20 Summit

After wrapping up a challenge that asked, “What global challenge do you think innovation leaders should work to solve right now?” on OpenIDEO, an open innovation platform, IDEO’s Nathan Waterhouse presented the findings to the i20, a group of global innovation leaders convened at the White House. The findings from the challenge helped to identify priorities and directions at the event that serves as a forum for discussion of innovation on a global scale.
Bedsider and HCD Toolkit Featured at The Design Biennial in Pasadena

Fred Dust Joins Design Trust/MAS Panel in NYC

On June 15, IDEO’s Fred Dust will participate in the Design Trust/MAS Garment District panel at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York.
