A group of five talented engineers and designers (who also work at IDEO) have won the Innovate or Die pedal-powered vehicle contest, hosted by Google and Specialized.

• Bank of America Keep the Change: A banking concept that attracted 2M people in the first year

Catalyst, Honorable Mention:

• Eclipse 500 Very Light Jet: A high-performance jet that has been sold in record-breaking numbers
• LifePort Kidney Transporter: A high-tech organ transport solution now used worldwide

The Humatrope reconstitution device, designed by IDEO for Eli Lilly and Co., Pharmaceutical Delivery Systems, is used to mix a diluent with a human growth hormone powder and subsequently used for injection. More on the silver award can be found here.
