Message MD-2010 ALPS requested IDEO’s assistance in designing a distinctive enclosure for its four-color printer mechanism, which produces results that rival laser printing at a lower cost. In less than three months, IDEO created five different foam models from approved sketches and delivered a final model to meet ALPS’ challenging deadlines. IDEO also performed studies to help determine appropriate color schemes.
